Hi everyone! Marie & Filip here, Co-Founders of Tally. We'd love to introduce you to our latest creation: Tally.
Tally is the simplest way to create online forms or surveys. You can create forms for all purposes in seconds, without knowing how to code, and for free.
That's right, for free, without limits on the number of forms you create, the number of responses you collect or the number of input blocks (question types) you can use, and tons of free advanced features like collecting payments, hidden fields, form logic and answer piping.
Tally has an intuitive interface that works like a text document, you can simply add content blocks with shortcuts, customize forms to your needs and easily share the form link, embed your form into your website.
Who's behind Tally?
Tally is founded by Marie Martens and Filip Minev, and made in Ghent, Belgium. Marie has a background in marketing and Filip is the technical brain behind Tally. He has founded other startups in the past (for example Delta, a crypto portfolio tracking app acquired by eToro).
As makers we struggled with finding the right tool to create forms for our previous start-up’s and jobs. Google Forms is very functional, but doesn’t look great and tools like Typeform, Jotform, Formstack make you hit a paywall very fast, and can be expensive for early-stage startups or indie makers.
It's like Notion and Typeform made a baby
- Jeremy Foucray, Founder Zetoolbox
It is a very competitive space, but we felt like there was a place for a new type of form builder experience with a different business model. We wanted to make form building easy, beautiful and free without limits. We’re big fans of Notion’s editor approach and wanted to create a fast, seamless and fun form building experience where you start from a blank page, and can create any type of form by just typing text or adding blocks.
What does the future hold?
The beta version of Tally was released in September 2020 and since then we're talking to early users who are helping us shape and improve the product. We just launched a Pro plan which includes empowering features for creators and teams like organising your forms in workspaces, adding multiple users, removing commission on payments and Tally branding.
The first integrations with Google Sheets and Zapier are now available (for free of course). Next on our roadmap are Airtable, Integromat, Mailchimp, and of course, Notion.
We have a public roadmap and encourage everyone with feedback or suggestions to join our Slack channel or reach out via Twitter or mail.
