Tally & Friends meetup — the recap
On April 26th, we had the privilege of organizing the first Tally meetup in Barcelona as part of No-Code Week 2023. Here's the recap!
On April 26th, we had the privilege of organizing the first Tally meetup in Barcelona as part of No-Code Week 2023. The event kicked off with a Q&A session, followed by demos by our friends from Notion, Make, and Framer, who shared their experiences and insights on how they incorporated Tally into their workflows.
If you weren't able to attend the meetup, don't worry - we've got you covered. You can check out the recordings and highlights from the event below.
Q&A with Tally co-founders Marie & Filip
How did we come up with the idea of building Tally and what do we think of Typeform? We talked to Joyce Kettering from WeWeb about launching and growing Tally.
How to optimize your processes using Tally and Notion
Alejandra and Daniel are certified Notion ambassadors and consultants. They run Notionología, the only 360º option in the Hispanic market where you will find everything you need to get the most out of Notion. With 59 forms and more than 5000 submissions, we can call them real Tally Pros. It goes without saying that we were very excited to learn how Alejandra and Dani combine Notion and Tally to optimize their business processes. The most common use cases are:
- Filtering customer requests
A Tally form with conditional logic helps Alejandra and Daniel filter and qualify their leads by allowing them to ask specific questions based on the customer’s responses. - Closing the deal
When sending proposals to clients, they use a Notion page with an embedded Tally form and a signature block to accept the proposal. This replaces the tedious process of exchanging emails back and forth. - User Feedback
Whenever someone buys a course or template, they automatically receive a feedback form after one week. - Pre-launch courses
When sending proposals to clients, they use a Notion page with an embedded Tally form and a signature block to accept the proposal. This eliminates the need for exchanging multiple emails. - Managing permissions in Notion
Managing permissions in Notion can be challenging. If a client wants to add new data to a database without sharing access, our Notion integration with a Tally form provides a workaround. Form responses are sent automatically, eliminating the need to share access to the database.
Making the real automation magic happen
When it comes to creating forms, we know it's just one piece of the puzzle. To truly streamline your workflow, you need to connect Tally with the other tools in your arsenal. This is where the real automation magic happens. One tool that we absolutely love for maximizing the value of your form responses is Make. In this live demo, Benedikt from Make created a workflow that sends Slack notifications and sends your responses automatically sent to Google Sheets without any manual effort.
Create landing pages (and forms) in seconds with Framer
Framer allows you to design and ship your dream site in no time and without code. Embedding a Tally form is as easy as pasting your form URL into a Framer embed block.
We were thrilled to meet and connect with numerous Tally users in person, and we are immensely grateful for the time, energy, and enthusiasm that you brought to the event. This meetup wouldn't have happened without Stan Verjus and Alexis Kovalenko, the inspirers of No-Code Week Barcelona.
See you at the next Tally meetup!
